Flexural wave energy harvesting by the topological interface state of a phononic crystal beam

چکیده

In this study, we design the 3D-printed phononic crystal (PnC) beam with topological interface state for harvesting mechanical energy of flexural waves. The PnC is formed by arranging periodic grooves on its surface. either topologically trivial or non-trivial phase can be achieved via changing distance between grooves. then generated combining two PnCs distinct phases. existence verified both numerically and experimentally. To convert into electricity, a piezoelectric disc attached at proposed beam. Compared to reference harvester, measured output power significantly amplified harvester frequency corresponding state. Furthermore, based exhibits robustness against geometrical disorders.
